He always brings peace. He always brings comfort. And notice that it says, "Though I walk through " It doesn't say, "Though I end up in the valley of the shadow of death." We have to remember that the dark times don't last. We don't have to live in the valley of the shadow of death; we are just passing through. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for you are with me; your rod and your staff they comfort me. Lexham Expanded Bible Even when I walk in a dark valley, I fear no evil because you [are] with me.

"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me." This verse is probably most often used at funerals to remind us of the triumph of resurrection over death and that we no longer have to fear its dark shadow. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. Psalm This again is a very picturesque scene.

This is probably Vance Havner's most personal book. He told of his wife's illness and death, and how this ordeal put his faith to the test. In the end, he realized that, in the words of an old gospel song, the God of the mountain is still God in the valley. Dr. Havner was very transparent in this book, and it has his usual readable s: Though I walk through the valley of death I shed so many tears If I should die before I wake Please God walk with me Grab a nigga and take me to Heaven [Verse 1] Back in elementary, I thrived on.

One of the most famous Bible verses from Psalms is “when I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil.” We have heard.

However, “valley of the shadow of death” is possibly not the most accurate translation of the original Hebrew text. The NIV, NLT, and HCBS translate the phrase as “darkest valley,” resulting in Psalm reading as, “Even though I walk through the darkest valley.”. Verse 4.
